Featuringggg HITS Hera!

Hey girls!

I've got another polish to show you that I swatched a while ago!  It's called Hera and it's from the HITS no Olimpo collection1  I bought HITS Hera and Zeus from Ninja Polish a while back and wore this beauty on the first sunny day!

Hera is a beautiful holographic teal polish that applies perfectly in 2 coats!  I've had China Glaze DV8 on my wishlist for some time since I love teals, so when I was able to buy this I was ecstatic!  I've looked at comparison swatches for a while now and I think this one is way better!  I can't wait to try Zeus!

Have you ladies tried any of the polishes from the no Olimpo collection? Get to Ninja Polish and buy them!

P.S. I hope you all have a great 4th of July!  I'm headed home for some quality family time ;)

SoFlaJo Champagne Cocktail!

I love SoFlaJo and her stinkin' cute collections!

The one I have to show you ladies today is from her Happy Hour Collection!  It's a beautiful silver glitter holographic polish called Champagne Cocktail!  She sells on her blog site and on Etsy, so check her out!

Wowowowow!  I love this!  Champagne Cocktail is an AWESOME silver holographic polish filled with various sized silver bar and hex holographic glitters!  So unique!

You could easily layer this polish over another to give it a pretty holographic feel, or it goes on opaque in three coats!  The formula is thinner than many other frankens I've purchased, but I really liked it!  And it comes with a great wide brush for easy application!  I'm in love!

You can purchase Champagne Cocktail, full sized, here for $10 plus SH!  And I definitely recommend checking out Jody's other polishes!

Glitter Gal Lizard Belly!

Holy Moly guys!  I have SO many entries in my giveaway!  Thanks so much for helping my celebrate my blog-oversary, I can't believe I'm still going strong after a year!  Your support has been awesome :)

Anywho, I'll be totaling the entries up for QUITE some time, hopefully by this weekend I can have a winner announced!  I'm adding some extras in with the prizes, so stay tuned!

I'm sorry, by the way, for not posting for a few days up until the end.  I have been SUPER busy and this weekend we had FIVE guests come stay with us!  It was great!  I've got some good polishes to show you guys in the next few posts, too!

But for today, here is Glitter Gal's Lizard Belly!

Inside lighting

Bam!  I was excited when I found out Ninja Polish carried Glitter Gal, 'cause I've been seeing these awesome holographic polishes on other blogs and I WANTED them!  I got my hands on three: Lizard Belly and 10 to Midnight and Silver Turbulence.  I've only tried this one, because it looked awesome in photos!

This polish went on great for a holo!  Sometimes they are streaky but this one wasn't really and went on fine in two coats!  Lizard Belly is a dark green/teal/charcoal holo (depending on the way you're looking at it), and it looks awesome outside as well as in the sun.  I wish my pictures had turned out a little better, but my camera just refused to capture the holo!

Have you guys tried Glitter Gal?  I'm psyched to try their other holos, especially now since it's still sunny when I get home from work and I've got time to take some sweet photos :)

Holy Holo, Batman! BK Holographic Polishes!

Today I've got two AWESOME holographic polishes to show you ladies.  I apologize severely for the amount of pictures :) They just don't do it justice!

The two polishes I've got to show you are BK Holos, I swapped with a girl in Hong Kong to get them and despite them being minis, I love love love them!

First, check out BK Holo #5 (pink):

Wowsers!!!  This is such a great polish, I am so glad I got my hands on it!  The formula is a little thin, not unlike other holographics, but it went on opaque in two coats.  It was a little hard to apply with the tiny brush, but I managed all right I think.  I am so drawn to pink holographic polishes that I have quite a few now, I'll have to do a comparison with some of the other pink holos available in the U.S. later!

Next: BK Holo #20 (black):

Ahhh!  Love this! Now, I haven't been able to get my hands on a holographic My Private Jet, but I've seen swatches and I imagine this is better :)  I may be biased, though!  The formula for #20 is the same as #5, a little thin, but it went on in two coats as well.  In the sun it's just AWESOME.  Wow!  Seriously, zoom in on some of those pictures and you'll see what I mean!

I wish I had larger bottles of these--do any of my international ladies know if they make them in bigger bottles?  I need more!!!

Have you guys heard of or tried BK holos before?? Let me know!

OPI DS Coronation!

Sooooo DS Coronation has been on my wish list for the longest time and I was lucky to receive it in a Secret Valentine's Day swap I did with some ladies in a Facebook group I'm in.

Initially I put it on and I wasn't as excited as I thought I'd be, but once I got in the light and sun, it was awesome!  I wore this on my plane ride when I went out of town for work, and it was ridiculously holo in the lights on the airplane for some reason (I need to get me some of those things).

I seriously couldn't take a bad picture of this polish.  Check it out!

I couldn't capture the scattered holo of this polish very well, you can see it kind of in the first and last pictures if you blow them up.  If I'm not mistaken, I believe that the Sally Hansen Nail Prism Diamond is a dupe for this polish!  I've pulled up their pics side by side and they look pretty similar, Diamond may be a bit darker than Coronation, but I haven't swatched them next to each other.  Regardless, I'm happy to have both in case I run out of one :)

DS Coronation went on smooth in 2 coats and I love how it sparkled enough to pull me out of my winter blues for a few days :)  Have you guys tried this DS polish?  Which one is your fav?

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms!

Soooo I went to Ross lately and found THREE of the Sally Hansen Prism sets!  One for me and two for swapssss.  If my second swap proposition doesn't go through, I'll add it to my Blog Sale :)

All I can say is WOW!  I love these :)  I'm all about my pink holos!  Check 'em out:

First up: Ruby Diamond:

Ruby Diamond is a deep pink holo...it's loveeeeely.  It goes on kind of thin and took 3 coats to become opaque, but when it got there it was amazinnggg!  It's not as linear as some of the other holo's I've seen but it's awesome nonetheless.

Next is Blush Diamond, another pink holo!

Blush Diamond is very similar to Ruby Diamond, but a little lighter!  It's also pretty thin and needs three coats.  The formula on these is pretty great for SH, though!

Here is a comparison of Ruby Diamond and Blush Diamond, side by side, on a nail wheel so you can see the difference between the two:

Look at that fab holo!  On the left/top Ruby Diamond, on the bottom/right Blush Diamond
Those are my two faves of the whole set--I'm so glad to have 'em!

Here's the next one, a duochrome called Lapis Amethyst:

Lapis Amethyst is a beautiful lavendar/gray/blue duochrome.  This one I believe I used 4 coats on because it's a little frosty and my nails have a lot of ridges.  If I would've used ORLY Ridgefiller I probably could've been fine with three coats!  This is one of the prisms available in my giveaway!

I should mention that I was so excited to swatch these that I didn't do a very good job cleaning up and my cuticles look kind of like poop...I apologize for that!  However I ended up getting lazy and didn't want to swatch the last two, so I did them both on one hand:

Silver polish: Diamond, Cream polish: South Sea Diamond

Diamond is a lot prettier on the nail than I thought it would be.  It's a multi-dimensional scattered holo super fine silver glitter.  I can't tell if it's in a gray base or if the shimmer/glitter is just so dense that it makes it look that way!  I really, really like this polish a lot and wish it'd come in the larger bottle!
Diamond is a suitable name for this
South Sea Pearl is a pretty iridescent, frosty pearl-colored polish.  It took four coats to become opaque (I just slapped it on, so this up close pic below doesn't do it justice) and it has a beautiful shimmer to it. However, it's got just a bit of a yellowish tinge to it, that no matter what I do, I just think it looks off with my skin tone!  So I also added this one to my giveaway!
Wow...my lack of clean up is evident
Wam blam!  Those are some fab polishes obtained for not very much money!  Look out for these at Ross...that's the only place I know to get them so far.  I'll let you ladies know if I find any more for those who'd like this collection!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a chance to win South Sea Pearl and Lapis Amethyst!

ALSO I added some brand new HTF polishes I found to my blog sale, so check them out!

<3 Hope your week is going well!
